Happening April 30 (during Crit Week) in the Maclean Ballroom, the First Annual Spring Drag & Burlesque Show will be an exciting chance to showcase the variety of student performance while celebrating the diversity of gender and identity expression at SAIC.

In this end-of-year exhibition first-year students from the Department of Contemporary Practices have the opportunity to propose and create site-specific work to be presented in and around SAIC’s Columbus building.
The exhibition runs through April 27.

Undergraduate students completing their degrees in Performance at SAIC present their thesis work in these not-to-be-missed programs that blur the boundaries between theater, movement, and the visual arts.
Performance Exchange Workshop

The Performance Exchange Group will be conducting a series of workshops in the month of February.
These workshops will be lead by multiple MFA performance students and are free and open to all SAIC students.

Terence Hannum (MFA 2004) will be performing in “Broadcast against Recording” at De La Cruz Collection: Contemporary Art Space in Miami, Florida. The event takes place Saturday July 9, 2011 from 7-10pm.
